[ The offer ]

What it costs a week Taste it in the Valley

From $531 a week is the lowest rate over the longest term, with no deposit or balloon. Subject to the lender's approval.

[ What the price buys ]
  1. The bar

Two arms at an Eversys. Ice maker, cup printer, your colours on the arms.

  2. Delivered and installed

To your site, positioned, plumbed and commissioned on your menu.

  3. Two years of service

Software, monitoring, maintenance, repairs and weekday support. No service bill until year three.

  4. Your brand on it

The ordering screen, the cup and the machine. One payment system connected.

  5. Your team trained

On the machine, the cleaning and the faults, at commissioning.

  6. Spares on the shelf

A starter kit of the common parts, kept with the bar.

[ Why it works ]
  1. No barista on the roster

The robot makes every drink. Your team restocks and cleans, and one of a café's biggest costs becomes a fixed repayment.

  2. No penalty rates

The machine costs the same on a Sunday or a public holiday as on a Tuesday.

  3. The same coffee every shift

The recipe doesn't change with who's on.

  4. Two square metres

A lobby, a corridor, a centre pad: sites where a café fit-out would never fit.

  5. People stop to watch

Two arms pouring a flat white draws a crowd. Marketing you don't pay for.

  6. The repayment ends

When the term is over, the biggest weekly cost goes with it. A second site is the same install, not a second café to staff.

[ What it costs a week ]

Pick a rate and a term.

The lender sets the rate when it assesses your application, from 7.5% to 20% a year. Seven years costs less a week; five years costs less overall.

Term
From year 3
Each week
$531a week

The bar, the install, the brand, the training and two years of service, as one repayment.

Each trading day
a day

Over a seven day week. A Sunday costs the same as a Tuesday.

Interest over the term

Repayments monthly in arrears, shown as a week. Ex GST and any lender fees. The rate, deposit and balloon are set when the application is assessed. Illustration only, not an offer of finance. Finance is arranged through an independent broker and provided by a lender, not by Wonder Robotics.

[ What covers it ]

How many coffees a day pay for it.

coffees a day, seven days, covers the repayment and the running costs.

Your numbers, our arithmetic. The margin is an estimate: it depends on your menu, prices, suppliers and waste. Sales depend on the site. A scenario, not a promise.

[ How it goes ]
  1. 1. Apply

A short finance application through our broker. The lender sets the rate, between 7.5% to 20%.

  2. 2. Place it

We help choose a site with the foot traffic to carry it, then deliver, install and brand it.

  3. 3. Train and trade

Your team is trained. Guests order on your screen, the robot makes the drink, you keep the takings.

  4. 4. Own it

After the last repayment the bar is yours. From year three, service is your choice.

[ After year 2 ]
  1. Keep full service, $2,000 a month

Software, ordering and payments. Remote monitoring and updates. Scheduled visits, covered repairs, support 8am to 6pm weekdays, Brisbane time.

  2. Self-manage, no monthly fee

Repairs and call-outs paid as needed, parts quoted when required. Your team looks after it day to day, as trained.

[ The fine print ]
  1. Rates

7.5% to 20% a year is the indicative range. The lender sets the rate, fees, any deposit and any balloon when it assesses the application.

  2. Ownership

Title passes when every repayment, and any balloon, is paid, as the finance contract sets out.

  3. Service

Included for the first 24 months within the $150,000. From month 25 it is optional, at $2,000 a month.

  4. Margin

What stays after beans, milk and cups depends on your menu, prices, suppliers and waste. The calculator uses the figure you give it.

  5. Sales

Sales depend on the site, the price and the foot traffic. Every figure on this page is a scenario, not a forecast or a promise.

  6. Advice

General information, not financial, tax or legal advice. Talk to your accountant before you sign.

[ Questions ]
Is it real espresso?

Yes. Ground to order on an Eversys: one arm pulls the shot, the other steams the milk and pours.

What happens when it breaks?

The service covers repairs, parts and labour for the first 24 months. We aim to answer a critical outage within four business hours and be on site within two business days, within 100 km of the Valley.

Who looks after it day to day?

Your team, trained by us at commissioning. Someone restocks, cleans daily and holds the food licence. The robot replaces the barista, not the owner.

What is a balloon?

A lump sum left to the end of the term. It lowers the weekly repayment and is paid, or refinanced, when the term ends. Up to half the price, if the lender agrees.

How is it taxed?

A lease, a hire purchase and a chattel mortgage are taxed differently, and at $150,000 the bar is above the instant asset write-off limit. Your accountant should confirm before you sign.

What does it need on site?

About two square metres, power, water and drainage. You arrange the site, its approvals and the food business licence. We draw it, and our trades or yours put it in.

Are there smaller formats?

Yes. The B Standard bar and the Smart EFF vending format are priced in the quote. Price one.

Can I taste it first?

Yes. Ours pours at 365 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley. Come and order one before you order one: book a tasting or call 1800 983 404.
